Who doesn’t do a bit of online stalking as your favourite authors are concerned?

Don’t be shy, I know you’re out here. Don’t leave me alone in this.

I, Book Stalker, confess: I follow my favourite authors on Facebook and Instagram and receive their newsletters. I’m always looking forward to that wonderful news that almost makes me sing in the office (which is not something you’d like to witness, let me tell you), a new book is coming.

Check out below some of the “victims” of my intense stalking (only for bookish purposes I assure you!)

Jay Kristoff is a #1 international, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of fantasy and science fiction. I discovered Jay Kristoff by reading Nevernight. It’s an amazing book and immediatly I bought more books written by him. My absolute favourite, and also my favourite from 2021, is Empire of the Vampire (click on the link to check my review). If you haven’t read it yet, you’re really missing something amazing!

Sarah J. Maas is the #1 New York Times and internationally bestselling author of the Crescent City, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and the Throne of Glass series. The queen of fantasy herself! I only discovered Sarah’s books on 2019 but I’ve read ALL her books. ACOTAR (click on the link to check my review) series are my absolute favourite, it warms my soul and heart. She’s the queen of plot twists and keeps the reader fully engaged in the book.

Laura Thalassa won my heart with the Bargainer series so I had to try other books and that’s when I found The Four Horsemen series and my mind was blown! She’s definitely become an auto-buy author for me.

Yes, I know. Ali Hazelwood only wrote The Love Hypothesis (as far as I know?) but c’mon! Adam and Olive are the sweetest couple! So basically I’m counting down the days to read her new novels, coming this year (you can check them on my blog – Upcoming books), and I already pre-ordered all of them. Crazy, I know…

Colleen Hoover is a goddess! My first read was Verity and I loved it! Later I found out that it is actually a very different style than what she usually writes but I bought Ugly Love since I’m a huge romance fan and I loved it! I’m slowly buying all her books now (my TBR is huge already). I’ve recently read It Ends With Us and, oh my God, what a book. So beautiful…I was so excited to find that a sequel is coming.
