Give some love to designers! I’m that reader who totally buys a book for the cover and I’m not hiding in the shadows about it (just don’t tell my husband that…he’s sensitive today because he’s just discovered that, besides the 200 physical books I own, I have 200 more on my kindle).
I’ve bought books just because the cover was stupidly pretty. I always read the blurb after and some don’t even excite me that much but that cover….oh boy.
Check out some of my favourite book covers:

Both covers from Crescent City are completely breathtaking. They’re not just on my top 5 of most beloved covers but the story is also pretty amazing! The endpapers and interior were designed by Carlos Quevedo, a Venezuelan graphic artist. His art is breathtaking! Click on his name to check out his website.

This isn’t even out yet and I’m already drooling! What a cover! I have a thing for skulls on covers, or snakes or other creepy stuff so this is AMAZING! The cover was designed by Tracy Shaw (unfortunately I can’t find her social media anywhere)

This cover is insanely gorgeous…and so is the story! This cover was designed by Karina Granda. I bought The Cruel Prince because I saw great reviews and then this cover came up and I was in love. So beautiful! Click on her name to check out his website.

A book I received with my FairyLoot subscription and it is stunning! I haven’t read it yet but it sits on a very visible place in my bookshelf. Simply stunning! The jacket was illustrated by Jason Chuang. What a talent! Click on his name to check out his Instagram account.
