My Review

In this book we follow the story of Vivian, the perfect daughter who does everything their parents ask of her. What she never expects is her father ordering her to marry Dante Russo, the ruthless and rich CEO that also wants nothing to do with her but is forced to marry her.

I’m stalking Ana Huang’s books like they’re the sweetest candy in the world. Is it always the same flavour? Yes. Do I get tired of it? No.

The writing is very similar to the other books but I love to read about the new characters, their love interests and that juicy enemies-to-lovers / slow-burn romance that explodes into very spicy scenes.

I really enjoyed seeing the funny interactions between the characters who couldn’t stand each other at first and loved seeing the ruthless Dante slowly falling in love with Vivian and becoming completely obsessed with her well-being.

If you like reading all books from the same world in order, like me, then I advise you to read the Twisted series first, if you haven’t already, because characters from those series will appear here. If that doesn’t bother you and since their appearance is not relevant to the storyline, you can read them in whatever order you want.

Ana Huang has become an auto-buy author for me. I’ve also already read King of Pride (review coming soon) and I can’t wait for the rest of Kings of Sin’s stories.

A Minha Opinião

Neste livro, acompanhamos a história de Vivian, a filha perfeita que faz tudo o que os pais lhe pedem. O que ela nunca espera é que o pai a mande casar com Dante Russo, o impiedoso e rico CEO que também não quer nada com ela mas é obrigado a casar.

Ando a perseguir os livros da Ana Huang como se fossem o doce mais saboroso do mundo. É sempre o mesmo sabor? Sim. Se me canso? Não.

A escrita é muito semelhante à dos outros livros, mas adoro ler sobre as novas personagens, os seus interesses amorosos e aquele romance de inimigos para amantes / de tensão sexual lenta que explode em cenas muito picantes.

Gostei muito de ver as interacções engraçadas entre as personagens que não se suportavam no início e adorei ver o implacável Dante a apaixonar-se lentamente por Vivian e a ficar completamente obcecado pelo seu bem-estar.

Se gostam de ler todos os livros do mesmo mundo por ordem, como eu, então aconselho-vos a lerem primeiro a série Twisted, se ainda não o fizeram, porque as personagens dessas séries vão aparecer aqui. Se isso não vos incomodar e uma vez que a sua aparição não é relevante para o enredo, podem lê-los pela ordem que quiserem.

Ana Huang tornou-se numa autora de compra automática para mim. Também já li King of Pride (opinião em breve) e mal posso esperar pelo resto das histórias de Kings of Sin.
